I arrive at nursery and say hello to my friends and carers. I have my breakfast and sit with the other children.
I then have fun exploring my group room and playing with lots of different toys. I sing songs and looks at books too.
I go and play outside in the garden where I have turns on the rocking horse, cars and in the activity centre too.
It’s then time for lunch where I go upstairs to eat lunch with the bigger children – this is always fun!
After my lunch it’s time for a sleep, rest, or cuddles with my carer.
Before long it’s time to get up and play some more. I do creative activities and get messy!
I have my tea time with the other children again – it’s nice ‘talk’ to the older children! It’s fun watching them spoon food into their mouths. I am looking forward to being able to do that myself, it won’t be long.
I then have lots of fun listening to music, singing my favourite rhymes and enjoying stories, soon it’s time to go home and look forward to my next day at nursery!
I arrived at nursery this morning and saw my friends having breakfast, some mummies were talking to the teachers.
I had a bowl of shreddies and some orange juice with my friends and then it was time to play.
The sand was out so were the paints and there was play dough or puzzles to choose from set out on the tables.
Soon it was time for snack, so I helped my friends tidy away the toys and we sat down for fresh fruit and milk.
Flowers in springtime were waiting for me and I soon got messy with the glue doing some sticking and making a pretty flower. Later on we saw it on the wall with my name next to it.
By lunchtime I was feeling tired, I had my yummy lunch, settled down on a mat and drifted off to sleep listening to relaxing music.
Later on it was time to find my coat and get ready to play in the garden. Hide and seek in the house, riding the bikes and climbing on the slide all made the afternoon whizz by.
I sat down for tea with my friends and the teachers and we sang happy birthday to a little boy who was 3, who brought in a cake and we all had a piece. Tea was cleared away and giant bricks were set out on the mat so we could all help build a big tower and watch it topple over. Very soon the buzzer went and it was my mummy, time to go home already!
What a busy day!!I arrive at nursery and choose which cereal I would like to eat for my breakfast. I kiss my mummy or daddy goodbye and sit with my friends to eat. After breakfast I go with my friends and we choose some toys to play with. We sit at the table and build towers with the bricks and help each other complete puzzles.
Before we know it it’s time to tidy the toys away and go to the bathroom to wash our hands. We all sit together to enjoy a yummy snack of mixed fruit and milk.
After snack time we have circle time. We all have a turn to stick something on the calendar. Then we all take turns at number lotto and talk about our topic. It’s then time to sit at the table and talk about our weekends. We write over the grown ups writing and then draw a picture.
When everyone has finished it’s time to go in the garden. We all take turns on the bikes and cars and also play in the house. We then hear Clare calling us up for lunch. We hang up our coats and wash our hands in the bathroom. I am a helper today and give out the knives and forks. We all put on our aprons and sit and wait for our lunch.
After we have finished our yummy lunch, had a drink and washed our face with flannels we go and sit on the mat for story time. I am feeling sleepy now so I have a little lay down until story time is over. I then take a turn on the computer and also have a play in the sand.
It’s then time to paint a picture which will go on the wall for our topic.
I go back in the garden where we play ring games and running races and then it is time to go in for tea.
After a yummy tea and lots of cold milk I sit down for stories and singing time. I them build a house until I hear the buzzer and my mummy is here to collect me.
I show her my picture I have drawn from my drawer and then we go home.
