The Baby room, which caters for children from six months, has cots and changing facilities and is designed to provide a stimulating environment through the use of natural light, sensory toys and activities. Music, stories, art and craft, play and outdoor fun combine to provide a typical day in the baby room.
The baby room works with the new parents to ensure the transion between home and nursery is a smooth one and routines will be kept, as much as possible, to that of the home. We are also happy to use your own non-disposable nappies if you prefer.
The Toddler rooms are a hive of activity, whether the children are icing biscuits, painting, playing in their “house” or learning their shapes, it's all great fun. The emphasis in these rooms is learning through play.
The Pre-school area focuses on preparing children for primary school through play. A structured day is centred around the six key stages of learning, namely language and literacy, numeracy, knowledge and understanding of the world, emotional & social development, physical development, and creative development. This, coupled with lots of activity and outdoor play, provides a busy and interactive day.
All children have a booklet that is completed daily briefly detailing information regarding your child's day, so you know what activities have been focussed on that day.
